Freecallworldwide.com is a state-of-the-art Web application that allows you to make free international phone calls and send equally free SMSes to almost any mobile or landline phone in the world.
Do I need to register/sign-up for making calls, sending text messages?
No, we don’t require our users to sign up in order to use our free calling and SMS services.
Are there any special requirements for making free calls?
All you need is Java-enabled browser with Internet and an optional set of microphone and speakers/headphones.Important: When placing a call, you’ll come across an “Java SE settings” prompt asking you for “Java permission” or “Camera and Microphone access” (Note: our service only uses your microphone.) Please click “Allow” to let the website run and access all needed components, as this is a necessary step for making calls. As of April 2015, starting with Chrome Version 42, Google has added an additional step to configuring NPAPI based plugins like Speedcom WebPhone to run.
In your URL bar, enter:chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option.
Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.The Java plug-in for web browsers relies on the cross platform plugin architecture NPAPI, which has long been, and currently is, supported by all major web browsers.
Are there absolutely no limits?
There is no limit of the amount of calls you make or call duration.
Does the person that I call pays anything? Does he pay the cost of the call instead me?
No, Speedcom pays for these calls, this is why we have time limits.
Can I use freecallworldwide.com to make calls and send SMS through my mobile browser?
You can send SMS on most of popular mobile browsers. You may have some difficulties to use freecallworldwide.com free calls on some older mobile platforms like Symbian OS. If your mobile browser doesn’t support Java try our mobile beta app for making free phone calls.
Are there any native freecallworldwide.comapps for mobile platforms like iOS, Android and Windows Phone?
Apps are coming… really! Given the ongoing flood of requests for such apps, we can’t rule out the possibility of native apps finding their way to mobile app stores. We will announce apps premiere in near future.
I am having trouble making calls and/or sending SMSes. What am I doing wrong?
If you’re having trouble figuring out how to go about making calls or sending text messages, please read our “How to Use” section. It contains step-by-step instructions for both calls and texts.For issues related with the service itself, please note that firewalls and ad blockers have been known to cause problems with Speedcom. It is therefore recommended that you first rule out all possibilities of it being a local problem. For instance, try calling the Denver weather forecast service at +1-303-3372-500 and if you don’t get through look for possible conflicts. Also, if possible, please try and recreate the issue on a different PC.If after having done all of the above, you’re convinced that the problem might actually be at our end, please report the issue.
